The "Foundation BaliContact " was launched officially in November 2009.
As its name implies, this foundation is attached to BaliContact Group . For 17 years, the BaliContact Group's objective is the Development of the Relations between Europe and Indonesia in economic, tourist, cultural and social matters. Today, this new step confirms our willingness to share even more with this country, Indonesia, which welcomed us generously.
The purpose of this foundation is to initiate and complete projects without feeling of misery, but with pragmatism and with transparency.

AEOLIANS FOR FRESHWATER
Indonesia has more than 17,000 islands. Many of these islands, inhabited by fishermen, have no freshwater resources.
The only possibility for their people is to get some water by condensation with bamboo palm (principle of the morning dew).
As you can imagine, this is clearly inadequate. They are therefore obliged to get freshwater going to other islands with little boats, this has a significant cost.
Today, thanks to new technologies, it is possible to get fresh water with wind devices very affordable and easily usable.
The "Foundation BaliContact" has made contacts with builders and owners worldwide patents on these devices. We consider, now, the feasibility and costs incurred to bring this project to equip some villages.

IDFF is part of the "Foundation BaliContact", with the technical and financial support of the WebTV BALIWOOD.TV
The aim is threefold:
* To enable young talented Indonesian in need of professional equipment (cameras, computers etc. ...), to produce documentaries dealing with Indonesia, while accompanying them to a technical career .
* Allowing a broader impact of Indonesia, broadcasting these documentaries through the WebTV BALIWOOD.TV as well as through various international events in which BALIWOOD.TV is involved.
* To enable young Indonesian students to better know their country, through the Project of free distribution of DVD to schools as "Educational Documentaries "about Indonesia.
